SIGMA FC is proud to announce Kyle Bekker has signed a professional contract with Major League Soccer ahead of upcoming MLS Combine and SuperDraft.

The playmaking midfielder recently concluded a stellar four-year career at Boston College in the NCAA where he was named First-Team All-Conference in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC)- one of the nation's top conferences. Bekker was recently on trial with London side Crystal Palace of The Championship and was considering this and other overseas options before signing with MLS.

Major League Soccer routinely signs a very select group of U.S. College seniors ahead of the SuperDraft. The move is a clear indication that Bekker will be one of the more coveted selections in this year draft. Bekker along with Sigma teammate and Oregon State University scoring standout Emery Welshman will take part in the 2013 MLS Combine beginning Friday January 11 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The MLS SuperDraft takes place January 17 in Indianapolis.
