"This group is what I usually say is the hardest working group in Sigma, from a work ethic on the field, getting things done, leaving every ounce on the field," said Sigma Technical Director Bobby Smyrniotis. "They are a technically good group, a tactically savvy group and their work rate is very good. There are some technically special players on the team, while others are tactically sound.
Outlook: According to Smyrniotis, the B2s having reached the U16 level, and having reached through their growth spurts and at the stage where they have physically matured and are ready to refine their play.
The B2 team routinely trains with the older group at Sigma, said Smyrniotis, so having the teams travel together makes sense.
"There's cohesion, talking, communication between the teams, and we think this is a good thing as the boys begin to plan for their futures," he said.
"Last year, the boys competed in U17 age group as U15s and did very well. We expect them to do well this year," he said.
