In Coach Smyrniotis' words:
"Johnny is one of the most versatile players I have had the pleasure of working with over the years. His ability to perform his best whether at right-wing, right-back or as a central striker is rare to find in a player. He has had to work hard over the past two seasons to really get the best out of him. I commend him for his hard work and dedication. His challenge will now be to take care of his studies at one of the nation's top Junior College soccer programs and move on to a full 4 year University in two years' time. Yavapai has been and still remains a great place for many players who have moved on to the top tier of the game. I believe the future can be bright for this young man as long as he sets the bar high for what he would like to achieve."

In his own words:
"This fall I will be attending Yavapai College, one of the best Junior College soccer programs in the States. I am happy I decided to move to SIGMA three years ago because I received outstanding training and coaching. As well, the quality of players pushed me to improve my level of play. I believe this is why I made it to the next level and I'm excited to continue my soccer career while studying business at Yavapai. I would like to thank all the SIGMA coaches for their support.

"I've had a good year, worked hard. I've picked it up over the past few months and I had a good Sigma Showcase. I feel like I have improved a lot."
