Bobby Smyrniotis on Samuel:
"When you think of commitment Dom is a prime example of it. From 2007 he has made a large sacrifice and commitment in commuting to training and matches in a manner in which many would not take on. As a player, Dom has been a force on the field starting off as a central defender and developing further as a holding midfielder. His pace, strength and technical ability on the ball make him a pleasure to work with and have as a part of your team.

"Over the years, he has worked hard on the field to keep on improving his game and as he leaves us I believe he is on a good path going forward. With the same determination, he has the ability to keep playing this sport beyond college with the right mindset.

"He will be a fantastic addition to one of the top NCAA DII programs in the U.S at SNHU under Coach Marc Hubbard. I look forward to seeing him help the program on to a National title. On behalf of everyone at SIGMA FC, we would like to congratulate Domenic and his mother (Yulanda) for their commitment over the years to SIGMA and the sport of soccer!"

In his own words:
"My time at SIGMA has been quite the memorable experience. When I first started, I never knew I would be where I'm at today as a person and as a player. All of the coaches really pushed me to do my best at everything I did which helped me expand my love and passion for the game. Leaving SIGMA will definitely be a big change but I know that they have prepared me for the future ahead of me. I will always be a part of the SIGMA family.

"I am now attending Southern New Hampshire University. I choose this school because of the excellent program they have. The environment is very good. The people, players and coaching staff are welcoming and really help me out when I need it. The school campus isn't too big which is exactly what I wanted and the fact that I'm not too far from home is a plus as well. I will be studying sports management and I hope to do well during my time here."
