SIGMA FC is proud to announce that academy grad Cyle Larin has signed a Generation Adidas contract with Major League Soccer ahead of the upcoming 2015 MLS SuperDraft. Every year MLS targets a few of the NCAA's top underclassmen to be signed to the league ahead of the annual Draft providing players an opportunity to forgo their final years of University to turn professional. The move by MLS to make Larin its top signing target in 2015 is clear indication that he is one of the most sought after young players in North America. Larin becomes the first Canadian to be signed by MLS as a Generation Adidas player.

The technically gifted forward recently concluded his second successful year at the University of Connecticut where he received many individual awards and accolades during his time there. Scoring 23 goals and 6 assists in 39 games he also helped lead the University of Connecticut to the Final 8 of the NCAA tournament in 2013.

A native of Brampton Ontario, Larin has been a member of SIGMA FC since 2006 where he started as a 11 year old. He was a part of the SIGMA FC 2013 graduating class that featured many of Canada's top players entering the NCAA. Larin split his time between UConn and Sigma, where he featured in the academy's inaugural season in League1 Ontario. 2014 was also the year where Larin made his debut with the senior Canadian national team, being called up by head coach Benito Floro to numerous camps and friendlies including the October 2014 friendly versus Colombia.

Based in Mississauga, Canada, Sigma FC is home to academy teams from the ages of 11 - 18 (SAAC - OSL) Senior men's team - SIGMA FC (League 1 Ontario), a development program (ETC Program) for younger boys and girls starting at 7 years old and marquee events such as the annual Sigma University Showcase and Sigma International Talent Camps. Sigma has seen more than 65 players move on to U.S or Canadian college soccer programs in the past five years, had twenty players called to national teams, and 5 already join the pro ranks both in North America and in Europe.
