The senior most team of the SIGMA organization will begin later in May competing in the OSL within the provincial men's league structure in Ontario. This SIGMA FC squad will be comprised of all the current U18 players along with returning alumni from US and Canadian Universities. Competing against many of the regions top Men's teams will definitely provide the young players a challenging environment to prepare them for their fall seasons at the University level and beyond.

The team will also feature a handful of experienced players who have recently finished their collegiate careers south of the border. The team will provide players a steady summer season full of training and match play at a high level. Managing Director of SIGMA and SEG Canada, Constantine Smyrniotis believes this is most important, "by establishing SIGMA FC in the OSL we now have a structure at our club which provides our older players a home for league play and training throughout the summer. These are the players playing in the US on scholarship and our other alumni who have moved on to the professional level. For our younger players, it's positive to know a senior team exists atop the SIGMA structure as well. It is a win-win situation and we only look forward to expanding on this initiative".

From a technical perspective the team will be coached by SIGMA Technical Director, Bobby Smyrniotis, "I have been working with many of these players for the greater part of three years and it is great to see that they are moving on to the next level in soccer both via the collegiate and pro systems. These players are the ones that will benefit from having this team and will help grow the club for our future talents".

SIGMA FC begins their regular season play on Saturday May 23 17:00 @ Ajax Sportsplex vs. Ajax Celtic.
