In Coach Smyrniotis' Words:
"Cyle has all the assets to play at the top. The move to the NCAA and to the University of Connecticut is one step closer to playing at the highest level. He will compete with the best in the country at UConn and the environment, from facilities to staff, is top notch. Cyle has been here since he was 11 years old and it is great to see his growth and maturity as a player from a boy who scored many breakaways at 10 years of age, to a complete and modern striker able to play with both feet, finish from all areas, dominate his region of the park and provide for his teammates."

"I have seen many very good players develop at SIGMA and in this country in general, and I would say Cyle is the most complete striker. He mixes technical ability, size, strength, speed and a tactical astuteness for the game. I am very happy for him and his family that he has committed to play for coach Ray Reid and the University of Connecticut. I look forward to his bright future at UConn and beyond."

In His Own Words:
"I am thankful to Coach Bobby and Sigma for being there for me each and every day, on and off the field, and keeping me focused on playing at the next level.

"I think it is going to be a hard transition for us, but going in with the right mentality, I think we will do well thanks to the training Bobby has given us over the last few years."
